Seido has recently acquired a Trumpf/SPI Lasers redPower 70W laser for customer process development. The redPower laser is a fiber laser that is especially useful for marking and engraving.
Seido Chief Technology Officer Yosuf Ahmed remarked, “The redPower fiber laser allows us to continue to develop innovative ways for our customers to reduce costs and increase quality for our customers by integrating lasers into their manufacturing processes. The 70W of power allows us to work with a wide range of materials, and the beam profile provided by the laser provides a high initial pulse and adjustable duration which makes it particularly effective for marking and engraving.”
